Though I have a minor in political science, I was never one to have a heavy interest in politics until recently. I have joined Rick Williams and others in signing a petition to recall Mayor Megan Barry. You too may join the fight to replace Mayor Barry by signing the petition at https://www.recallmeganbarry.com/ I also encourage you to follow this group at their page at Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/380289695776264/about/
Mayor Barry has broken the trust of the citizens of Nashville. I believe Nashville needs a new mayor that the citizens can trust—one who will work for and with the local citizens to address their concerns and needs. That’s all I have to say about that now. Please join the fight!
I also want to remind you to vote “no” for the proposed transit plan, which is not practical nor worth the costs. By costs, I not only mean financial costs but other inconveniences too, such as giving up traffic lanes and sidewalks and forcing businesses to relocate or close that are too close to main roads where they’d have to relocate to have parking, etc.. For more information and to join the fight against light rail and a tunnel being built in Nashville, please visit https://www.facebook.com/bettertransit4nashville/
